Thanksgiving Prayer by Richard Sherrer 11/3/20 Prayer for the Church PHILIPPIANS 1:3–11
I thank my God in remembrance, About you in every prayer; Having all of your endurance, Showing how much you really care. Always every prayer of mine, Making all of my prayers with joy; How the glory making you shine, On your efforts that you employ. Your partnership in the Gospel, From the first day up until now; Preaching it out to the people, And of what the Lord will endow. Being confident of this thing, The good work from who has begun; Of the performance what would bring, Until the day brought by the Son. It is right for to feel this way, Even as it is meet for to think; I hold in my heart to obey, Through the blood of Jesus I drink. For we are partakers of grace, In defense and confirmation; Through the Gospel that I embrace, Preaching with my affirmation. Because God remains my witness, How I yearn for the affection; Inspiring spiritual fitness, Able to show my reflection. It is my prayer about your love, In knowledge and all discernment; About what flows down from above, Knowing God is fair in judgment. You may approve as excellent, Things that are as pure and blameless; Remain sincere and vigilant, That maintains to remain shameless. Because the fruit of righteousness Being fulfilled from Jesus Christ Glory in heart and consciousness, Praising the Lord becomes enticed.
